Barbara Augello

Barbara Augello has been offering instruction in lifesaving skills through
Health Ed of New England since 1989. Barbara is a certified EMT, and a
certified CPR/ First Aid instructor for both the American Heart Association
and the National Safety Council. Barbara has over 20 years of experience
teaching and leading groups and individuals. She is a member of Toastmasters
International, where she has competed in and won speech Competitions.
With a Masters degree in Recreation Management, you know her classes
are always fun! Barbara’s leisure interests include brisk
walking, dancing, and meditation. In her spare time, Barbara volunteers
for the Standish Humane Shelter and the American Heart Association. Barbara
is passionate about promoting her values of health and wellness. She completed
the Disney Marathon in January 2002, as a fundraising and educational
effort for the American Stroke Association, where she raised almost $4000.
Barbara gives her time and energy to the two major fundraising events
for the American Heart Association: "Go Red for Women" campaign,
designed to educate women about heart disease (the #1 killer of women),
and the American Heart Walk. |
