Private CPR / AED and First Aid Classes:

Yes, we can come to you! Many groups find it convenient to hold a private class at their own site for employees or family and friends. These classes offer a relaxed atmosphere for the students in a familiar setting.

We offer CPR/ AED and First Aid classes for a variety of groups, including fitness centers, child care centers, schools, medical settings, corporate groups, and industrial settings.  We serve communities in Southeastern Massachusetts, including Boston, South of Boston, West of Boston, and Cape Cod MA areas.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

FOR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS:

BLS for Healthcare Providers: 3 ½ - 4 hours: infant, child, and adult techniques for choking /CPR (for 1 and 2 rescuers), and AED (defibrillator) training. Includes use of advanced barrier devices.  Written exam required.  American Heart Association certificates issued.

CPR AED FOR LAY RESCUERS (non medical professionals):

Heartsaver CPR AED adult/ pediatric: approx. 3 hours;  basic CPR techniques for adult/ pediatric victims (infant techniques are optional) with simple barrier devices. Includes use of an AED (automated external defibrillator),  No written exam.  American Heart Association certificates issued.

FIRST AID CLASSES:
 
Heartsaver First Aid:  3 hrs; how to recognize and treat common emergencies, such as burns, bleeding, shock, poisoning, stroke, electrical shock, and broken bones.  The focus is on the adult victim in the workplace. American Heart Association certification cards issued.

Pediatric First Aid: 3 hrs; how to recognize and treat common emergencies in infants and children, such as bleeding, head injuries, burns, poisoning, fractures, and bee stings.  American Heart Association certification cards issued.

COMBINATION CPR AED FIRST AID CLASSES:

Heartsaver First Aid/ CPR AED: 5 ½ -6 hrs: includes modules on both Heartsaver First Aid and adult/pediatric CPR AED. American Heart Association certification cards issued.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/ CPR AED:  6 - 6 ½ hrs:includes modules on both Pediatric First Aid and adult/ pediatric CPR AED.  American Heart Association certification cards issued.
